World Knowledge: There is a class of people that are not tied to any one setting, any one world. These wanderers, these walkers of the realms, usually don't know each other. When they meet each other, they don't usually take the other for someone special. They take things freely from one realm to another, usually amassing quite a wealth of skills, abilities, and items.
Name: "The Listener" Tanya Michelle McHope "Lady of Sounds", "Silverblade"
Physical Description: Female, Young Adult, 22 Human Years, 5'7", Slim Muscle, 135lbs. She has long legs, slightly above average foot size. She has a very slightly disproportionate figure - her hips are larger than they should be for her B-cup breasts. So, she's got a full butt. 28/26/30 are her measurements. She has an innie belly button. She has long arms as well, ending in hands that are slightly above-average in size. Her fingers are long as well. She has several birthmarks, small blotches on the insides of her knees and elbows. She has a scar, an inch-long thin mark across her left shoulder. She has no tattoos or piercings. Blue eyes, short red hair.
Attire: Tanya likes to wear lace underneath it all, usually in red or white. So, her underwear (and sometimes a garter) is usually lacy. Above that, she's usually wearing a spaghetti strap undershirt in white or light pink, then a tee-shirt in a dark color, and an unbuttoned faded jean jacket that she is almost never seen without. Her pants are usually jeans to match her jacket, but sometimes she wears dark colored slacks that match her shirt at the time. She is usually wearing a pair of thigh-high steel-toed boots which are black and spiked in the toes. There are small slits in the soles, corresponding to the small slits in her feet. She is never seen without a big, bulky set of black headphones that look like they've been through war. On the occasions she has to dress up, she will acquire a new dress and a matching pair of heels. She keeps her headphones though. She takes out a necklace for these occasions though, a thin gold chain with a simple gold circle locket. No person alive, other than her, has ever seen the inside of the locket.
Personality: Alignment-wise, she is Chaotic Neutral. She has little respect for government, be it a just one or otherwise. She has a personal code, but puts the needs (and desires) of the now above that code. For example, "I don't kill people" is a part of her code, but she will kill if it is necessary to complete a greater goal, such as her continued survival or well-being. She doesn't really care about other people, one way or another. She expects them to live their lives, and let her live hers. If she sees someone in immediate physical danger, she will usually help them, but she then considers that person to "owe" her. She doesn't expect that person to care, but she will forgive herself a slight to, or downright crime to, that person... Unless they do something positive towards her, like help her out of a jam. Politically, she is libertarian. She doesn't have much respect for government, and because of that she wants the government to be as small as possible. She does not want government-funded anything, because that takes money from her, which she could use for other things. She also doesn't want the government to have even the smallest say in how she lives her life. Religiously, she is disillusioned. Being a walker of the realms, she has seen the after-life. So, she doesn't have faith in any religion. However, due to her 'live your life, I'll live mine' mentality, she doesn't shove this belief down others' throats.
Likes: Dragons, Fast Cars, Flight, Meeting New People, Music, Painting, Seeing New Things, Travel, Walking.
Dislikes: Androids, Silence, Vampires, Werewolves.
Weapons: There is a reason she is called Silverblade. She has has a two-handed silver broadsword that she keeps on her hip most of the time. It is magical, keeping its edge no matter how long it is used. She also has a tendency to use her sound-based flight system as a weapon, but more on that in the Capabilities section. Besides that, she doesn't keep any personal weapons around her, but she will grab a gun if there is one available. She prefers pistols. The thing is, she doesn't keep a holster for any guns, so she hasn't been able to keep them for very long. They have a tendency to melt when she 'takes wing'.
Capabilities: She has a sound-based flight system. To the casual observer, she flies like Iron Man would. She has small slits cut into her hands and the base of her feet, more for the focusing of the power than anything else. She produces a blast of sound at a very low frequency, the recoil of which sends her flying in the opposite direction. Most of the time, the sound she is producing is below the range of human hearing. If she were to produce sounds that would be heard, they would only be heard by those in the blast... Those people would have more pressing problems than the volume of the sound. For instance, they would have to deal with the pulverizing of their bodies by the sheer force of the sound. Other than the flight, her only real supernatural ability is the ability to walk the realms. She can plane shift at will, usually mid-step. She does have control over this ability, but she doesn't use it in combat because it would 'ruin the fun'. She has no qualms in saving her life by plane shifting. This ability works as long as there is at least one spot in the entire multiverse that still can be touched by magic. Considering there isn't an anti-magic force strong enough to cover everything that ever was, is, and will be, she will always be able to plane shift at a moment's notice... Even if she is currently in a field or the target of an anti-magic effect.
History: Tanya's history is long, and she doesn't share it with anyone. Her parents are probably still alive out there, but then there are so many alternate worlds that she could never truly believe that she found the parents that are truly hers. She doesn't really remember everywhere she's been, they all kind of blur together after a while. She knows that she left when she was young, six or seven perhaps. She gained control through a nightmare period of shifting worlds at random, falling asleep in one world and waking up in another. She still shifts in her sleep if she is having a particularly bad nightmare, but it usually wakes her up mid-shift now so that at least she can react to whatever is out there. Her younger teenaged years were spent growing more and more cynical, seeing worlds in their peak and then seeing those same worlds barren and desolate only a few short centuries later. That is to say she shifted to that world's future, not that she sat there for centuries. She doesn't know if she's immortal, but she doesn't think so. She has made some friends over the years, but she doesn't know how to deal with their lack of plane-shifting ability. She has had the fortune of not running into any other walkers of the realms, or if she has she hasn't known them for what they are. She has seen herself a few times, though she hasn't ever seen future versions of herself. She is always in a position to candidly view younger versions of herself, keeping herself from view when that happens. She has not yet had to save her own life, though she believes it is something she could have to do at some point. This scares her.
