Cabanostal
Cabanostal is small narrow area that connects two larger countries together, acting like a bridge. This area was once largely controlled by -By a yet to be made city- with only a few minor bandit groups patrolling the major highways. Only 78 years ago did a certain bandit group, the soon to be Reborn, raided a passing vehicle possessing illegal books containing information concerning behavior of different types of atoms and molecules. Allowing anyone who had link powers to put them to use.
After this incident, the bandits named themselves the Reborn. The new amplified power allowed them to sweep through Cabanostal. All other (yet to be named ) bandit groups were forced to either join the Reborn or flee the area. They even went so far as to take over the once trade route of the (yet to be named larger kingdoms). Using their link powers, they widened the area of Cabanostal, allowing their people to build a town there.
As of late, the Reborn split up into two different factions and fled the nest. Yet power was not restored. Even though the town has made efforts to build a new military, they can't. The remnants of the Reborn feel like they have to protect Cabanostal, exactly as their grandfathers did, and will destroy any attempts to impede them from that goal. And, well, an undeveloped military isn't a match for a possible world breaking power.

batias: No one is here. >.<
batias: Whatever, I'll post my thoughts of the Cabanostal setting in hopes someone will say something that makes me cry rainbows.
batias: Huh.
batias: Lets say I'm driving into Cabanostal. What will I see first?
batias: Sandy roads, of course. Fairly clean sand - it's kept up.
batias: Thick forest will be an immediate observation, but the number of trees lesson as you drive further in.
batias: lessen*
batias: Much of your surroundings are green still. You're near a large body of water, so dehydration isn't much of a concern for plants and wildlife.
batias: The roads continue to be sandy. It's the trademark of Caba.
batias: You roll into a town, I believe.
batias: The place is largely low tech, excusing the few flesh mechs that were given to the people there as gifts.
batias: Shacks are a fairly common thing to see, right now. You're not at all in the center of caba.
batias: You should be able to see the left side of caba - a sandy beach. Your altitude begins to rise. After all, the core in cabanostal is big enough that large boats can pass through.
batias: The road steepens as well.
batias: As you drive, the forest thins and the quality of homes get better.
Sub-settings
The main road
You're driving to Cabanostal from -undeveloped setting-. Before you enter, the trees are low hanging and threaten to slap against your car. The road curves to the left. As you traverse, the dirt roads become paved with clean up kept beach quality sand. Rich green plant life quickly goes from forest to tropical. Colorful flowers little the ground beneath a sign that reads "You are now in Cabanostal." The cluttered trees turn into uniformed ones, and you can see the blue ocean shining in between the cracks. At one point in the trip, the waters become clearly visible along with the beach. There is a split off road there that leads to the beach, where you can see both new and run down shacks in the distance. The altitude of the land sharply rises, as well as steepening road. The trees lose their uniformed arrangement and return to a cluttered state. Sand paved roads cut into the trees and lead to private residences and buildings. None of them being over four stories. The land is restored to a flat plane and the road curves and straightens to fix itself in the middle of Cabanostal. The trees thin and you remain unable to see the other side of Caba due to the home density. An elementary school, a library, and two walk in fast food restaurants soon follow. An intersection featuring stop signs on the road going through the main interrupts things, but the theme continues. You pass a home several small business shops. The main road takes a dip, and goes through a small tunnel underneath a park in town square. Postliminary to this, the pattern repeats itself, and you have exited Cabanostal.
The purpose of the main road was to give a brief description on everything visible from it. I'll have to give more in depth descriptions on everything else.
